Katharina teaches the violin, classical guitar, piano and music theory at all levels and has done so for over 15 years worldwide. She is an avid performer on all instruments and has trained with the world’s leading musicians. Playing and teaching music is her lifelong passion and she enjoys supporting the creative development of all people from all backgrounds, most especially children. The primary pedagogy method used for violin is the Colourstrings method, a contemporary, cutting edge approach to learning. The guitar materials come from her library of eclectic music which has been put together in over 25 years, the piano method is from Alfred’s collection plus more and the Music Theory techniques have been devised and refined for over 25 years after a numerous training sessions and guidance by renowned Australian musicians.
Katharina holds a Bachelor of Music, a Graduate Certificate in Music Studies and a Masters in Business. She has won numerous awards and participated fully as an artist globally which led her to receiving the Young Australian of The Year NT in 2007 amongst others.
